With government subsidies to public service organizations shrinking, it is up to the private sector to do as much as possible to compensate for funding cuts. We are proud to have disbursed approximately $555,000 from proceeds from our annual fund raiser, The Symphony of Food.
WOMEN’s mission is to help less fortunate women and children in southwestern Pennsylvania. As part of that mission and in addition to our philanthropic event, money is disburse from September through June throughout Western Pennsylvania to help charities with emergency situations. Should you have a suggestion of a new potential recipient, please contact the Philanthropic Chair at email@example.com. An Emergency Fund is also available for various emergency requests during the year.

Mail the grant application and copy of IRS 50l(c)(3) designation to WOMEN of Southwestern PA, Inc., c/o Philanthropy Committee, P.O. Box 1112, McMurray, PA 15317.
We are seeking grant request applications in order to support local women and children in need for specific projects that have no federal or state funding.
